The Cuba Ring was inspired by a trip to Havana, where I bought a really wide silver ring at their antique flea market. It was stamped with Latin patterns and was even wider than the Cuba ring. I wore it around on my trip and thought about how nice it felt and what a nice statement it made. It made me feel fashionable and I loved the feel of the big ring. When we were carving the wax we did the flat version first. When I touched it I thought that the round felt more elegant. We decided to do both because the flat is very architectural and the round is more elegant for two different personalities.

There are so many elements that make this a fun everyday statement ring.  The asymmetric shape and how it is so comfortable and wearable.  The texture on the silver with the contrast of the 18k gold bezel, and the cherry on top--a beautiful black diamond!
