These earrings are cast with the texture of Northern California beach sand. The recesses in this texture are matte, while the raised parts are shiny, giving you a subtle sparkle. They are specifically designed with security in mind; there's no way the loss of an earring back will keep you from wearing these on the regular!

The ball bearings in these earrings are set tightly enough to remain secure, but with enough space to freely spin. Delightful for us fidgeters!
