There's metered street parking and paid lots at both ends of Fourth Street. Free street parking is one block east on Fifth Street and up Delaware and Virginia Streets; watch for 2-hour limit signs.
When you arrive
For the safety of our clients, artists and staff, we ask visitors to scan a photo ID at the door. The scan only checks that the ID is valid. It doesn't collect your personal information.
If you book an appointment, we verify you in advance and you won't need to scan. We keep the number of parties in the gallery small so everyone gets our attention, and an appointment means you won't wait.
Questions
- Do I need an appointment?
- No. Walk in any time we're open. Book ahead if you'd like to skip the ID scan and any wait, or to talk with April about custom work.
- Why do you scan IDs?
- With rising gold prices and an increase in crime, we added a few safety steps in March 2026. The scanner verifies the ID and doesn't store your information.
- I've shopped with you for years. Do I still scan?
- If we recognize you, we'll usually wave you in. Newer team members may still ask until they get to know you.
- Can I bring in jewelry, stones or gold?
- Yes, for repairs, a remake, or gold trade-in. An appointment makes sure the right person is here.
